Parkridge Place

For this project, we took architectural references of modernist 1970s style to design an economical build with a relatively large footprint. Located on a rocky outcrop on a ridgeline overlooking Heathcote Valley, everything was done to maximise transparency throughout the building to make the most of expansive valley views.

The roof was designed to act as an umbrella, protecting the building underneath from the elements. Fin walls support this floating roof, with transparency through glazing making the interior feel spacious and airy.
